Ok So I am really behind on this. Cliff's Birthday was a month and a half ago. That's right he's the big '30'. To celebrate we went to a really good steak house with 13 of our friends. Unfortunately, we sat there for an hour and still hadn't received menus. So, we packed it up and headed over to the only other place open....the Marriot. The service was so much better but by the time we got there the kids were about to go crazy from sitting so long. Also, there menu isn't exactly extravagant, so instead of steak he ended up with a turkey sandwhich. Now the highlight of the night should have been the cake that I made right? But, as most of you know, we have a mini-oven down here that is gas so.....I burned the bottom of the cake. Not the ideal birthday dinner I'm sure but what can you do when you don't have Applebees, Outback, Texas Roadhouse or Wal-mart to save the day. We did have fun with all of our friends and we probably won't forget the experience we had on Cliff's 30th Birthday!!
